The Valkyrie Profile One-Save 100% Voice Collection Spell Checklist (Originally posted to the GameFAQs Valkyrie Profile board on 9/18/2001) So, you want to have a 100% voice collection in just one save? Well, that means you'll need to acquire enough spell books to give everybody every spell, at least temporarily. This list is an upper bound for the number of each kind of spellbook you'll need to have by the time you reach the Seraphic Gate. You can actually do this with less than the number of spellbooks I mention, since some mages have some spells learned already. However, I don't have a list of such spells handy, so the following assumes a clean slate on every magic using character. Spell groups listed in parentheses are essentially equivalent; you can transmute among any of them more or less at will, although a Creation Jewel or Gem may be required. For example, (Heal/Normalize) - 20 would mean to have a total of 20 Heal and Normalize spellbooks; 6 Heal and 14 Normalize would work, as would 10 each, or 20 Normalize and no Heals. Any spell group marked with a ! means number is irrelevant; you can get an unlimited number of these in the Seraphic Gate. Anyway: !(Dampen Magic/Sap Power/Sap Guard) - 27 !(Dark Saviour/Shadow Servant/Mystic Cross/Sacred Javelin) - 36 (Fire Lance/Fire Storm/Icicle Edge/Frigid Damsel) - 36 !*(Heal/Normalize) - 18 !(Invoke Feather/Shield Critical) - 18 (Lightning Bolt/Prismatic Missile/Poison Blow/Stone Torch) - 36 Might Reinforce - 9 (* - An item FAQ claims Bream Giants drop Normalize as well as Mystic Cross, but my old copy of Captain K's FAQ doesn't confirm this. I'll check the latest version as soon as I post this.) That leaves three more, which are a bit tricky: Guard Reinforce -> !Spell Reinforce -> !Reflect Sorcery -> (Dampen Magic, et. al) You need 9 of each of Guard Reinforce, Spell Reinforce, and Reflect Sorcery. So, count any GR's in excess of 9 as Spell Reinforces, excess SR's as Reflect Sorceries, and any excess RS's as (Dampen Magic/Sap Power/Sap Guard). Again, you can do this with less spellbooks if you pay attention to what spells characters already start with, and adjust your count of how many of that spell you need accordingly. Also, try to have a plan as to what 10 spells you want each character to have, and if necessary, try to get a few extra spell books to accommodate this.
